Act 247 Fee Increase in 2025
Posted November 20, 2024
Under the Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247) any proposed subdivision, land development proposal or ordinance revision, is to be submitted to the County Planning Commission for advisory review. CCPC is authorized to collect fees for the completion of subdivision and land development reviews, as per Act 247.
The review fees periodically need to be adjusted to cover the review and administration costs and to reflect the current inflation rate. To reflect these increased costs, including the rate of inflation since 2022 as determined by the Consumer Price Index for the core statistical area including Chester County, CCPC's 247 review fee rate will increase by 16.2%, effective January 1, 2025. The maximum fee cap will remain the same at $10,000.
