Urban Centers
Chester County's Urban Centers are the 15 boroughs and the city of Coatesville that serve as civic, economic, and population centers, each with a traditional town character including historic downtowns and established neighborhoods. The Urban Centers represent concentrations of population, employment, commerce, institutions, and services for the County. The Chester County Planning Commission strives to provide planning services to the Urban Centers through several planning resources listed below.
