Transportation Awards — Professionalism & Leadership in Chesco

We are excited to share that Steve Buck and Alex Sankaran of Chester County Planning Commission's Multimodal Transportation Planning Division were recently recognized as Top TDM (Travel Demand Management) Professionals Under 40 by the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association!

The two were presented with the award at GVF's Annual Meeting held on Monday, May 8, at the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia, where presenters from PECO, Brandywine Realty Trust, Urban Engineers also received awards.

"Both Steve and Alex have done great work since joining CCPC and the Multimodal Planning Division last year," noted Division Director, Brian Styche. "Steve is managing the Chester County Trails Master Plan while Alex is moving forward with the Public Transortation Plan Update, both of which are on track to be completed at the end of 2023."

The Top TDM Professionals Under 40 awards recognize dynamic young professionals within the transportation industry, working to advance TDM throughout our region, providing people with safe, reliable, and efficient mobility choices.

In addition, Chester County Commissioner Michelle Kichline received GVF's 2023 Elected Official Award for her leadership and dedication to serving on the GVF board. ?It has been an honor to serve on the Board of GVF which is dedicated to inspiring mobility choices for ALL," noted Kichline.
