Sustainability Summit

Thursday September 26, 7:30 a.m. at Penn State Great Valley

Chester County is holding its first-ever Sustainability Summit in support of implementation of the county's Climate Action Plan. Come get inspired by the innovative sustainability efforts of organizations in our area, network with other sustainability professionals, and get the information you need to take on sustainability initiatives for your organization, business, or in your own personal life. Additionally, there will be mobile workshops and tours September 27-30.

Fall Planners' Forum

Wednesday October 4, 8:00 a.m. at Brandywine Battlefield Park and via Zoom

The Fall Planners' Forum provides a great opportunity to hear and discuss current planning topics and share ideas. The Forum will focus on innovative Vision Partnership Program projects, including implementable comprehensive plans, heritage tourism planning, and clean energy transition plans.

Urban Centers Forum

Thursday November 2, 4:00 p.m. at Downingtown STEM Academy and via Zoom

This year's Urban Centers Forum will explore ways to preserve, protect, use, reuse, and take advantage of historic resources through adaptive reuse (such as CCPC's Adaptive Reuse Guide) and various historic resource designations.

Housing Forum

Thursday November 30, 4:00 p.m. at the Government Services Center and via Zoom

The Housing Forum is an annual event to share information and best practices regarding housing in Chester County. Hear from speakers as they discuss strategies and tools they use to talk to residents, developers, the business community, and municipalities about affordably priced housing to minimize fear and encourage further creation of housing opportunities.
